Lake State’s Experimental Grow Lab is managed by the Zierden lab. The Grow Lab is one of LSSU’s many research facilities our lab uses including the MASC Lab and the Agilent Cannabis Center of Excellence.
The Grow Lab uses modern environmental controls like those found in Cannabis industry operations. Students learn how these interact with multiple sensors and control the environment in the lab.
The Grow Lab is large enough to hold ~60 full-grown Cannabis plants. This allows us to conduct multiple experiments simultaneously.
